The latest surgical apparatus and kit are provided to all our surgeons with the option of additional specialist equipment being brought in whenever required.  The surgeons and theatre staff work closely with the equipment companies to ensure all our staff are trained to the highest levels on, and have access to the most up to date surgical equipment as soon as it becomes available.

In-theatre Image Intensifier Xray equipment allows surgeons to view fractures within the operating theatre for rapid assessment and accurate repair in trauma cases. 

Our four inpatient wards include a dedicated orthopaedic ward and a specialist day surgery ward, supported by a High Dependencey Unit (HDU).
