Born and largely brought up in London.

Schooling at the Haberdashers’ Aske’s School. Qualified from the Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine, 1993. House jobs Royal Free and Lister Hospitals. Demonstrator in Anatomy Leeds University. Basic Surgical Training at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital. Further training and SpR rotation Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Included 1 year as Clinical Lecturer at the Institute of Orthopaedics, University College London (UCL). Consultant at the Royal Free Hospital since July 2005.

Have recently withdrawn from circuit medical team at Snetterton Motor Racing Circuit. Now kept happily busy by family and developing practice.
Married with 2 daughters.
