Thanks to a wide range of expertise and options, the Pain Consultants working in the Pain Unit can devise holistic treatments for most pain conditions drawing on clinical, psychological and social care.

Conditions treated include: musculoskeletal pain disorder, back pain including sciatica, neck pain including whiplash, failed back surgery syndrome, discogenic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, post surgery pain, oro-facial pain and cancer pain management.

Techniques used include diagnostic blocks, facet joint radiofrequency denervation, root nerve blocks, pulsed radiofrequency treatment and intravenous blocks.

We also carry out minimally invasive disc procedures, epidural injections, neuromodulation and drug delivery system implantation.
