Specialist physiotherapists with years of experience in managing orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions can help by improving posture, movement, muscle patterning, strength and control, to help restore function and resolve painful problems. The physiotherapists work very closely with the orthopaedic consultants and the radiology department. Regular communication and access to the results of any investigations allow them to provide an integrated multidisciplinary approach specific to every individual.

The physiotherapists are experienced in rehabilitation following surgical procedures, both initially after the operation while in hospital and with ongoing care as an out-patient following discharge.

Many of the physiotherapists are highly specialised in the areas they work with and are aligned to specific consultants or units. As well as orthopaedic physiotherapists, we have specialists in respiratory physiotherapy, female incontinence, neurology, elderly care and domiciliary physiotherapy.
