Dr C Tench MB BChir FRCP MD

Dr Colin Tench is a Consultant Rheumatologist and General Physician at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, St Mary’s campus. He qualified from Cambridge University Medical School in 1990 and has trained at The Royal London Hospital, University College London Hospitals and the Hammersmith Hospital. He was appointed as a Consultant Rheumatologist and General Physician at St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington in 2003.

Dr Tench has specialist interests in SLE and inflammatory arthritis, the management of osteoarthritis and soft tissue rheumatism. His research interests include fatigue in Lupus and his MD thesis investigated the effects of aerobic exercise on fatigue and sleep quality in Lupus. In addition Dr Tench has a keen interest in undergraduate and postgraduate education and is an enthusiastic and motivated teacher.

Dr Tench practices privately at the Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth, The Lindo Wing, St Mary’s Hospital and London Bridge Hospital
